She shared the following comment about the song on the anime's official website : I am KAYA, and I am honored to sing the opening theme song. The opening theme "Flare of Soul" is a song depicting a heart that lives upright, kindly, and strongly like Fia, even as it resists a given fate. Choosing and continuing to walk the path you believe in, rather than what is correct. I sang this song with those feelings in mind. The strength to move forward even while holding onto doubts and pain. The impulse of the moment when you reach out to grasp an answer chosen with your heart, not through logic.
