To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Aikatsu Stars! anime, an all-new film titled Aikatsu Stars!: Hoshiboshi no Progress ( Progress of the Stars ) is scheduled for a theatrical release in Japan in early spring 2027. This news was announced during the revival screenings of Aikatsu Stars! The Movie (originally released in 2016), which began today, July 3, in 70 theaters across Japan as part of the anime's 10th-anniversary project. The official website for the new film also launched today, featuring a teaser trailer along and a teaser visual of the protagonist, Yume Nijino. Aikatsu Stars!: Hoshiboshi no Progress Teaser Trailer Teruo Sato, who directed the TV series, and Yuko Kakihara, who was in charge of the series composition, will once again be working together as director and screenwriter. Comment from Teruo Sato: Ten years ago, we encouraged everyone with the word, "Dreams aren't just for dreaming; they are for making them come true"... Fortunately, we have been able to produce a new film that allows us to share a message with everyone once again! And now, ten years later, what do we want to convey... What can we convey...
