Ashnikko is a music artist who was born in the United States and has spent a lot of time growing up and working in the UK. With big hits like "Slumber Party" and "STUPID," the artist has made a big splash in the music world. She is currently on tour with stops in the U.S., Germany, Australia, and more. Konomi Suzuki is a Japanese singer and voice actor with many credits in the anime world, including songs for Ishura and Shin Ikkitousen . Konomi Suzuki's answers were translated by Junjun Riku. The two artists talked to me about what it was like to collaborate on their opening song "Recollect" for Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- , the first anime they ever watched, and what fans can expect next from their musical careers. What was it like working together? Was the process any different than your usual work? Suzuki : It was an incredibly inspiring experience. Normally, I work closely back and forth with my own music production team, but this time, Ashnikko poured so many different elements into the song, almost as if casting magic on it. Through that process, I was able to open doors within myself that I didn’t even know existed. Under that “magic,” I could feel my own vocals evolving in a really positive way, and that was something I truly enjoyed. Ashnikko : Me and konomi met in Japan before I wrote my part of the song, which was lovely.
