The fantasy series Because I, the True Saint, was Banished, that Country is Done For! will be getting an anime. The official accounts for the series, based on the light novels written by Shikiso Utsuzawa and illustrated by Pukyunosuke, revealed the anime adaptation alongside a 2027 premiere, a teaser visual, and lead cast and staff members. Naoki Tozuka is writing the series composition, while Naru Nishikori is adapting the character designs.  Kodansha USA releases the manga adaptation, illustrated by Mokuba Matsu, through its K Manga service in English, describing it as such: Saint Eliane’s engagement is called off out of the blue by her fiancée, the crown prince Claude, who then banishes her from the kingdom. Fed up with Claude’s incessant bullying and unfaithfulness, Eliane sets off to a neighboring kingdom in the hopes of starting a new life.
