Shortly after hitting over 10 million copies in circulation, Koji Miura’s Blue Box manga has officially come to an end. The series concluded in the latest issue of Weekly Shonen Jump magazine with the publication of chapter 250, which is available to read for free through VIZ Media's official site and app. The final chapter of the Blue Box manga concludes a run of over five years for the series, which kicked off in Jump back in April 2021.  VIZ Media publishes an official English version of the manga and describes the story: Taiki admires Chinatsu from afar, but he doubts that she sees him in the same way. Yet somehow, he musters up the courage to tell her to never give up on her dreams! After such a bold declaration, will Taiki’s fleeting high school romance finally begin? An anime adaptation began airing in October 2024, and a second is set to follow this October. Daisuke Sato ( Lupin ZERO ) takes over as director for  Blue Box  Season 2 at new studio Electric Circus, replacing Yuichiro Yano at Telecom Animation Film, with Yuko Kakihara and Miho Tanino returning as series composer and character designer, respectively.
