Dark fantasy anime Clevatess is back on July 8! What new challenges will the second season bring? A new visual teases an epic battle on the horizon. The new visual, bearing the words "The Last Reckoning," depicts an incoming conflict with Vordein — who, like Clevatess, is one of the four Dark Beast Lords: Clevatess Season 2 Visual Kiyotaka Taguchi directs the Clevatess anime at studio Lay-duce, with series composition by Keigo Koyanagi ( The Rising of the Shield Hero ), character designs by Soichiro Sako ( Buddy Daddies ) and music by Nobuaki Nobusawa ( Steins;Gate 0 ). Yuji Iwahara ( Dimension W ) created the original manga. Crunchyroll streams Clevatess and describes the story: One of the Lords of Dark Beasts, Clevatess’s reign shatters when he revives a hero he personally slayed and adopts an orphaned humanoid baby—the last hope to save a dying world.
