Converse recently summoned the power of Dragon Ball Z for a new collection that includes themed takes on the Chuck 70 and Chuck Taylor All Star shoes. For the former, Shenron wields his power, while the All Star takes on the energy of characters like Goku, Vegeta, Cell and Buu, as well as a Fusion style. A pair of t-shirts and a hoodie round out the line, which formally launched in North America and Greater China on July 23 . A worldwide release will follow on the Converse website and select retailers on August 11. Shoe prices range from US$55 for kids sizes to $80 for adult sizes and $105 for customizable upgraded Chucks. A couple items, including the Shenron and Goku shirts and the Fusion All Stars, are sold out at the time of this writing.
