The upcoming TV anime adaptation of Muchimaro's Even the Student Council Has Its Holes! slice-of-life comedy manga announced an October 2026 broadcast date today. A character trailer and visual were also released, revealing Shogo Sakata (Yusuke in You and I Are Polar Opposites ) as the voice of protagonist Ume Mizunoe. Even the Student Council Has Its Holes! Tatsuwa directed and Imamura provided the character designs for the series' animated promo video that went viral in 2024. Seven Seas Entertainment publishes Muchimaro's original manga in English and describes the story: In a student council filled with weirdos, one new member is about to have a hell of a school year!
