Time-bending action comes to Crunchyroll next year! Attendees of this weekend's Anime Expo got a first look at the upcoming anime adaptation of Futa Kimura's manga Fate Rewinder , including both a new teaser trailer and visual. Crunchyroll will also stream the series when it premieres in April 2027 . Fate Rewinder Anime Teaser Trailer and Visual As seen in the teaser, the newly announced cast will also include: Chrono voiced by Shou Komura Akaba voiced by Kohei Amasaki Lemon voiced by Reina Ueda Shirai voiced by Koki Uchiyama Rie Matsumoto directs Fate Rewinder at Bones Film with Kimiko Ueno on scripts, Toshihiro Kawamoto on character designs and Satoshi Murai on music. Story Inc., which produces Makoto Shinkai’s films, will be producing  Fate Rewinder   as its first anime series. The original manga, created by Futa Kimura, launched in Monthly Coro-Coro Comic   on January 2022. 12 collected volumes have been published in Japan.  The series follows Chrono, a 14-year-old boy who is a member of the Space-Time Police Special Forces Unit called a “Rewinder.” The organization uses its “Retry Eye” to save people who have already died, using future knowledge to repeatedly go back in time to get to a future where the victim is alive and well.
