The Final Fantasy VII: Ever Crisis mobile game first went live on iOS and Android devices on September 7, 2023 before eventually making its way to Steam, and now it’s almost time to put this crisis to a close. The game’s official accounts announced plans to end service on October 6, 2026 at 11:00 p.m. Pacific Time. As of July 7, new Steam downloads have been discontinued. Those who already installed the game on Steam will not be affected. Square Enix plans to support the game until its last days and has a detailed roadmap available here . This is Shoichi Ichikawa, the producer of the game. As we recently announced, after careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to end the service of FINAL FANTASY VII EVER CRISIS (for both the Japanese and Global versions) on Oct. 6, 2026, at 11:00 PM PDT. EVER CRISIS launched on Sep. 7, 2023, to serve as “Another Possibility for a Remake.” Glenn and the gang were essential in telling young Sephiroth’s story, and they even crossed over to the mainline FINAL FANTASY VII Remake Series where they continued to play an important role.
