Final Fantasy XIV Fan Festival 2026 is underway in Berlin, Germany, and the event kicked off with a keynote presentation that shared an extended Evercold teaser trailer. The presentation also revealed new details about upcoming game features, including the new Bastion tank job class, an upcoming eight-person raid series cross-over with Final Fantasy VII entitled “Beyond the Lifestream” with art supervision by Tetsuya Nomura, a new typing mini-game entitled Keybound Brawler and various gameplay revisions and improvements such as a rework of the Chocobo companion system and the ability to take Chocobos into instanced dungeons. Final Fantasy XIV: Evercold Extended Teaser Trailer Naoki Yoshida directs Final Fantasy XIV at Square Enix Creative Studio III. The game is subscription-based and available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, macOS, Windows and Xbox Series X|S platforms, with a free trial period up to and including the Shadowbringers expansion.
