The official website for Godzilla Minus Zero , the upcoming second Godzilla film written and directed by Takashi Yamazaki following 2023’s Godzilla Minus One , released a teaser trailer and visual today. The tagline on the trailer and visual reads: "Our crime and punishment. Returning to Zero is not a option." Godzilla Minus Zero will open in Japan on November 3 and in North America on November 6. In the same week, it will also release almost simultaneously around the world, including in Latin America, Europe, Asia, the Middle East, Australia and New Zealand. Godzilla Minus Zero Teaser Trailer and Visual In addition to the previously announced Ryunosuke Kamiki as Koichi Shikishima and Minami Hamabe as Noriko Oishi, the site announced that five more cast members will reprise their roles from the previous film, Godzilla Minus One . These include Hidetaka Yoshioka as Kenji Noda, the director of the Disaster Response Bureau; Yuki Yamada as Shiro Mizushima, a young crew member of the Shinseimaru; Kuranosuke Sasaki as Seiji Akitsu, the captain of the same vessel; Sakura Ando as Sumiko Ota, Shikishima's neighbor who now runs a local orphanage; and Miou Tanaka as Tatsuo Hotta, the former captain of the destroyer Yukikaze. Additionally, Min Tanaka newly joins as Kanji Murakami, a biologist carrying deep psychological scars from the war.
