The anime adaptation of Hana-Kimi is back for a second season, following the misadventures of Mizuki at the all-boys school. As the series continues, a new opening and ending also premiered — both of which are now available to enjoy in creditless versions! Check out the opening, set to "FLASHBULB," and the ending, "Hanataba," both performed by the band Omoinotake. "Hanataba" drops on July 22, and you can now pre-save/pre-add the single on your music service of choice. The original Hana-Kimi manga by Hisaya Nakajo ran from September 1996 to August 2004 in Hana to Yume magazine for a total of 23 volumes. VIZ Media also publishes an English-language version of the series. Natsuki Takemura directs the Hana-Kimi TV anime at animation studio Signal.MD, with assistant direction by Shigeru Ueda, series composition by Takao Yoshioka, character designs by Shi Yi Su and music by Masaru Yokoyama. Crunchyroll streams Hana-Kimi as it airs, describing the series as such: Mizuki Ashiya is on a mission: disguise herself as a boy and enroll in a male boarding school to meet her idol, high jump star Izumi Sano.
