Norihiro Naganuma, the acclaimed director of The Apothecary Diaries , was on hand at Anime Expo this weekend to preview his new original anime project. The concept? Ninjas vs. dinosaurs! The result is Jurassic Shadows , an original battle anime now in production. The project is Naganuma's first foray into a full action series, and will reunite him with many key staff members from The Apothecary Diaries . In addition to ninjas and dinosaurs, the project is said to combine the "unexpected modern element of “kesho” (make-up)."
