The Just Like Mona Lisa stage event at AnimagiC today unveiled the upcoming anime's first teaser trailer, while also announcing Chika Anzai (Reina in Sound! Euphonium ) as the voice of Hinase Arima and key production staff members. A release date is yet to be confirmed. The Just Like Mona Lisa manga, also known as The Gender of Mona Lisa , was first serialized on Gangan Online in May 2018, running until October 2022 and spanning 10 collected volumes. Square Enix also publishes the series in English and describes the story: In this world, people are born without a gender. Their bodies shift toward their desired gender when they reach twelve years old. Until Hinase's eighteenth spring, they lived content without a gender. But the bubbly girl Ritsu and thoughtful boy Shiori pull Hinase in opposite directions when they both confess their feelings on the same day!
