The official website and accounts for the Kaiju No. 8 anime announced today that the Narumi’s Week at Work original short anime series will premiere on September 5 and air weekly for four episodes, alongside the release of a new trailer. Additionally, Crunchyroll will stream the short anime in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East and CIS when it premieres next month. Narumi’s Week at Work Anime Trailer The original Kaiju No. 8 manga by Naoya Matsumoto ran on Shonen Jump+ from July 2020 to July 2025 for a total of 16 volumes. VIZ Media releases an English-language version of the series. The first season of the TV anime aired from April to June 2024, with the second following from July to September 2025. Shigeyuki Miya and Tomomi Kamiya directed the first season at Production I.G, with Shigeyuki Miya directing the second season. A "Final Chapter" production was also announced in December 2025 .
