The Kyoto International Manga Anime Fair (KYOMAF) Executive Committee and the City of Kyoto revealed this year's "KYOMAF Collaboration Visuals" today. Every year, KYOMAF traditionally releases collaboration visuals that combine popular anime, manga and game franchises with Kyoto's tourist attractions ahead of the opening. This year's theme is the "Kan’ei Gyoko 400th Anniversary Festival" — an event that celebrates the 400th anniversary of the occasion in 1626 when the third Tokugawa shogun, Iemitsu, welcomed Emperor Go-Mizunoo to Nijo Castle in Kyoto and entertained him with Noh performances, waka poetry and other festivities over a period of five days. The anime characters depicted against the backdrop of six iconic Kyoto landmarks are from Inherit The Winds , The Apothecary Diaries , The Vermillion Mask , Tokyo Revengers , Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian and Wazamonogatari Karen Ogre . There are also plans for exhibitions and the sale of original merchandise featuring these collaboration visuals at the venue. Inherit The Winds x Konkaikomyo-ji Konkaikomyo-ji, also known as Kurodani, is one of Head Temple of the Jodo Sect of Buddhism, located in Sakyo Ward, Kyoto City.
