The Loner Life in Another World TV anime revealed that the series will be returning to Japanese airwaves in the future with a second season currently in-production. A special congratulatory piece of art (below) was published to coincide with the announcement of Season 2. At the time of this reporting, no further details (such as the release window) have yet been been revealed for the second season. Shoji Goji began serializing the original Loner Life in Another World light novels on the Shosetsuka ni Naro website in October 2026, and Overlap also publishes a print version in Japan with artwork by booota and Saku Enomaru under their Overlap Bunko label, with 18 volumes released to date. Seven Seas Entertainment publishes an English-language version of the series. Akio Kazumi directed Season 1 of the TV anime at animation studios HAYABUSA FILM and Passione, with production cooperation by FRONTIER ENGINE, series composition by Kenta Ihara, character designs by Keiya Nakano and music by Shuji Katayama. Season 1 broadcast in Japan in October 2024. Sentai Filmworks publishes Loner Life in Another World on home video in the United States, and describes the story: Haruka cares so little about his classmates that he’s never even learned their names. He just wants to finish school and move on.
