This weekend’s Anime Expo 2026 event delivered the official reveal of a MURCIÉLAGO anime adaptation. Based on the hit manga by Kana Yoshimura, the anime is set to premiere in 2027, with Takashi Naoya ( Tales of Wedding Rings ) serving as chief director and Matsuo Asami directing the joint animation production between Satelight and Staple Entertainment.  Takashi Naoya also works on series composition. Sei Tateishi handles character designs and Masanori Akita and Yuichi Tsuchiya compose music for the series. A “Super Teaser” trailer arrived along with the news in addition to comments from the creator, chief director and director.
