My Hero Academia creator Kohei Horikoshi leaps from heroes to horror in his next one-shot! Tentatively titled Warawanaide-yo Shijima-san ("Don't Laugh, Shijima-san"), the new manga is scheduled to appear in next month's combined issue 37/38 of Weekly Shonen Jump. A new visual (above) has also been released teasing the upcoming manga. The 61-page one-shot marks Horikoshi's first since the conclusion of My Hero Academia in August 2024. The manga is described as a "boy-meets-girl horror story." Issue 37/38 of Weekly Shonen Jump hits newsstands in Japan on August 10. Shonen Jump app subscribers can also read new issues as they're released, though the app has not yet confirmed if or when this new one-shot will be released in English.
