The official website and accounts for the new upcoming Magic Knight Rayearth anime released a new main trailer and key visual today, and announced that the series will premiere in Japan on October 7. Additionally, three new cast members were also announced: Clef voiced by Yuki Kaji Presea voiced by Emiri Kato Ferio voiced by Yoshitsugu Matsuoka Yui Miura ( JUJUTSU KAISEN assistant director) directs the new Magic Knight Rayearth anime at studio E&H Production, with series composition by Shigeru Murakoshi ( ZOMBIE LAND SAGA ), character designs by Satomi Watanabe ( OSHI NO KO costume designer) and music by Yuki Kajiura, Shiho Terada and Takumi Ozawa. CLAMP released the original Magic Knight Rayearth manga from 1993 to 1995 with Magic Knight Rayearth 2 released from 1995 to 1996 in Kodansha's Nakayoshi magazine, with a total of six volumes released in Japan. Kodansha USA releases both the first and second English versions of the manga. Crunchyroll currently streams the original 1994-1995 Magic Knight Rayearth anime and describes the series: Hikaru Shidou, Umi Ryuuzaki, and Fuu Hououji aren't from Cephiro. While on a school field trip to the Tokyo Tower, the three girls' minds are on anything but different worlds filled with magic and wonder.
