It’s almost time to dive back into Nioh 3 , which officially has a date for its first piece of DLC. Add-on DLC 1, Hell Rising , is set to launch for PlayStation 5 and PC (Steam) on August 19, and you can get a brief peek in Koei Tecmo and Team Ninja’s first-look trailer below. Nioh 3 Hell Rising DLC Trailer Hell Rising kicks off content included with the Season Pass and also available to purchase individually. After this it’s DLC 2, Bloody Insurrection , and there’s also the Chijiko Netsuke Charm that’s available as a Season Pass bonus. We’ll have to stay tuned for more details on when to expect the next piece of DLC. Nioh 3 launched on February 6, 2026. Here’s how Koei Tecmo describes it Hell Rising , which serves as the start to a two-part tale of conspiracy: Our protagonist and appointed shogun, Takechiyo, journeys through time and is led to Edo in the future by an unknown yokai he met in his dreams. There, following the death of the future Takechiyo, the era of peace has ended, and Edo has been retaken by the Crucible. With the cooperation of a one-eyed swordsman, Yagyu Jubei, and a Spanish envoy, Rodrigo, Takechiyo faces yet another plot revolving around Spirit Stones and an enemy with a strong resentment towards the shogunate.
