A new trailer for the upcoming Overgeared TV anime was revealed today during the Crunchyroll Showcase panel at Anime Expo 2026. The series broadcasts in Japan beginning in October 2026, Crunchyroll will also stream the series as part of the fall 2026 anime simulcast lineup . Ayako Kono ( Sword Art Online The Movie - Progressive ) will direct the series at J.C.Staff, with series composition by Kenta Ihara ( Sentenced to Be a Hero ), character designs by Ryosuke Tanigawa ( DEMON LORD 2099 ), music by Yoshiaki Fujisawa ( Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation ) and Yoshikazu Iwanami ( JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure ) as Sound Director. Tatsumaru Tachibana (Jin Mori in The God of High School ) will voice Grid, and Asami Seto (Nobara Kugisaki in JUJUTSU KAISEN ) will voice Yura. Yen Press releases an English-language version of the series, and describes the story: Youngwoo Shin is a deadbeat in real life, working odd jobs to barely pay off his loans.
