The official website for the TV anime Red River announced that Minami Takayama (Conan Edogawa in Detective Conan ) and Kazuhiko Inoue (Yoriichi Tsugikuni in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba ) appeared in the first episode as the mother and father of Yuri, who lives in modern-day Japan. The TV anime adaptation of Chie Shinohara's Red River manga premiered in Japan on July 7. The two of them played the main characters, Yuri and Kail, in a drama CD series titled "Sound Theater," which was released between 1997 and 2003, around the time Chie Shinohara's original manga was being serialized.
