Crunchyroll is officially announcing today that the upcoming Romelia War Chronicle anime will stream on the platform when it premieres this year! The series will also make an appearance at Otakon 2026 this year in Washington D.C . Romelia War Chronicle Release Date : 2026 Territories : North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East and CIS Synopsis : Romelia and her party succeed in defeating the Demon King Zelgis, though Prince Henri’s reckless charge forces them into a grueling battle. In the aftermath, Romelia is branded "dead weight" for not fighting directly, and the Prince unilaterally breaks off their engagement. Denied a place in the victory celebrations, Romelia returns home, only to be met with cold indifference from her family and society. Yet, she refuses to break. She has already set her sights on the path that lies ahead. Ryo Ariyama started the original Romelia War Chronicle novel series on Shosetsuka ni Naro in August 2019, with Shogakukan releasing the physical edition starting in June 2020 for a total of six volumes. A manga edition by Ryo Kamito began in April 2021, with five volumes released in Japan to date. Seven Seas Entertainment releases an English-language version of the manga.
