Kyoto Animation's alternate history series Sparks of Tomorrow recently debuted, and a new character is about to step into the next episode! Today, it was announced that voice actor KENN will be taking on the role of Oshie Ainosuke in episode five, titled "Proof of Love." Ainosuke is a university student in love with Suzu, and discovers a device in the 20th Century Electrical Catalog that alleges to prove if two people share feelings for each other. KENN's other notable voice acting roles include David Martinez in Cyberpunk: Edgerunners , Tamaki Yotsuba in IDOLiSH7 and Apollo Justice in the Ace Attorney video game series. Oshie Ainosuke / KENN Minoru Ota makes their series directorial debut at Kyoto Animation with Sparks of Tomorrow , with series composition written by Tatsuhiko Urahata ( Violet Evergarden ), character designs and chief animation direction by Kohei Okamura ( Free! The Final Stroke ), worldview setting by Takaaki Suzuki ( Violet Evergarden ) and music by video game composer Hitomi Koto. Netflix currently streams Sparks of Tomorrow worldwide.
