In Episode 25 of Star Detective Precure! , which aired on July 19 in Japan, the true identity of Cure Eclair was finally revealed as Kurea Howa (CV: Ikumi Hasegawa). Additionally, from June 21 to July 19, fan voting to guess who would become Cure Eclair was held via the campaign's website (limited to once per day) and at ballot boxes in eight locations nationwide. According to the final results released today, based on more than 250,000 votes cast, Kurea Howa received the most votes—over half of the total, followed by Shiruku Ieiri, Rei Kaneda, and Eliza Kurusu in that order. Ikumi Hasegawa has been active as a voice actor since the mid-2010s and is known for roles such as Desumi Magahara in Love After World Domination (2022), Ikuyo Kita in BOCCHI THE ROCK! (2022), and Pop Step in My Hero Academia: Vigilantes (2025).
