The new limited series features Kenji Kamiyama ( The Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim ) as supervising director and Shunsuke Tada ( Legend of the Galactic Heroes: Die Neue These ) as director, with Production I.G handling animation.   The official Star Wars website describes the limited series as such: Kara and her ragtag Jedi crew seek out to find worthy Jedi to fight against an increasingly powerful warlord.
