The official website for the upcoming Suikoden: The Anime released a new trailer today, alongside announcing new cast members and that amazarashi will perform the opening theme song, "Kanashimi Sae Otonobite." As previously reported, the anime is scheduled to premiere in October 2026 in Japan . The newly announced cast members include: Agares Bligh voiced by Jin Yamanoi Anabelle voiced by Miyuki Sawashiro Jess voiced by Kodai Sakai Konami Digital Entertainment produces the original Suikoden RPG series. YUZO ( exception ) directs the TV anime at studio KONAMI animation, with series composition by Michihiro Tsuchiya ( Akane-banashi ), animation character designs by Ryo Yamauchi ( My Master Has No Tail ) and music by Koji Nakamura. The TV anime adapts the story of Suikoden II , and the story of the series is described as follows: Two young boys... the hero, Riliu, and his best friend Jowy, were members of a youth brigade of their home nation, the Highland Kingdom - a powerful military nation located in the north-east of the Dunan region. The two of them looked up at the same starry skies, slept in the same tent, and believed in the same future. Once the fighting was over, and the night ended, their daily lives were sure to return. Contrary to their hopes, the two boys become swept up in the whirlpool of fate, guided by the flames of war.
