Coinciding with their first appearance in the fourth episode of the series, two new cast members have been announced for The Ogre's Bride TV anime. Voice actor Akira Ishida plays Sen'ya Kiryuin , while voice actor Misato Fukuen plays Sara Kiryuin , the parents of lead character Reiya Kiryuin. The Ogre's Bride is currently broadcasting in Japan, and Crunchyroll also streams it as part of the summer anime simulcast season . Sen'ya Kiryuin Sara Kiryuin Kureha writes and Yu Shiroya illustrates the original The Ogre's Bride light novel series, and Starts Publishing releases the series in Japan under their Starts Publishing Bunko imprint. Starts Publishing also serializes a manga adaptation with artwork by Jun Togashi in their noicomi publication. MangaPlaza publishes an English-language version of the manga. Kazuhito Omiya directs the TV anime adaptation at Colored Pencil Animation Japan, with series composition by Yumi Kamakura, character designs by Hikari Tanaka and Hiroko Shigekuni and music by Masaru Yokoyama.
