The official website for The Prince of Tennis anime today unveiled a third teaser visual for the sequel to 2024's The Prince of Tennis II U-17 WORLD CUP SEMIFINAL , subtitled "Kessho Member Ketteisen" ( Final Member Selection Match ), which is slated for the fall of 2026. The visual depicts Keigo Atobe and Yushi Oshitari, who are teammates in the Hyotei Academy Middle School Tennis Club but now face each other to compete for a spot in the U-17 World Cup finals, and its tagline reads: "For the moon and the sun to continue shining together—." The site also announced that actor Yu Shirota will play the role of Romeo Fernandez of the Spanish national team. Shirota was born to a Japanese father and a Spanish mother in 1985. He has experience playing the role of Kunimitsu Tezuka in the musical series (2005–2006) as well as in the live-action film (2006); on the other hand, this will be his first time voicing a character in a TV anime series. Comment from Yu Shirota: In the past, I played the role of Kunimitsu Tezuka in the musical, but this time I will be participating in the anime for the first time as Romeo Fernandez. I'll try to give it my absolute best to convey the charm of this character and the passion of the Spanish national team through my voice, so please look forward to it.
