The TV anime adaptation of Mochimaru Sakaki's The World's Strongest Witch novel series today announced the casting of Kana Hanazawa (Ichika in The Quintessential Quintuplets ) as Aries and Maria Naganawa (Shizuka in The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, REALLY Love You ) as Lulu, joining Azusa Tachibana as protagonist Lorna. The World's Strongest Witch anime is set to begin airing on October 7 in Japan. Five volumes featuring illustrations by riritto have been published under the SQEX Novel imprint to date, and a manga adaptation by Tamaki Toga is also ongoing. Joji Furuta ( SHAMAN KING ) directs the anime adaptation at studios Bridge and Aisle, with series composition by Shoji Yonemura ( HOTEL INHUMANS ) and character designs by Yuki Morimoto ( Bad Girl ).
