The official website for the upcoming summer 2026 TV anime Thunder 3 announced today that singer-songwriter Yuuri performs the opening theme "Thunderbolt." The TV anime adaptation of Yuki Ikeda's manga series will broadcast as part of Fuji TV's “+Ultra” programming block beginning on July 8, and Netflix will also stream it in worldwide markets. Yuuri made his major label debut with Sony Music Labels' Ariola Japan label in August 2020 and has released 21 digital singles and two full albums to date. "Thunderbolt" marks the first time in two years that Yuuri will be performing an anime opening theme since "Curtain Call" ( My Hero Academia Season 7 2nd Cour) in 2024.
