Tokyo Revengers’ next arc War of the Three Titans is bound to set screens ablaze when it returns on October 2, and to stoke the flames, the series, based on the manga of the same name by Ken Wakui, announced that JO1 will be performing the opening theme song “IGNITE.” Maki Kodaira directs the new  Tokyo Revengers  anime at studio LIDEN FILMS, with series composition by Yasuyuki Muto, character designs by Kenichi Onuki, Keiko Ota, Airi Tsuyuki and Kanae Takakura and music by Hiroaki Tsutsumi.  The first season premiered in April 2021, with the second and third seasons following in 2023. Season four, titled War of the Three Titans , premieres October 2. Crunchyroll  streams the anime's first season  and describes the story as such: Takemichi Hanagaki is a freelancer that's reached the absolute pits of despair in his life. He finds out that the only girlfriend he ever had, in middle school, Hinata Tachibana, had been killed by the ruthless Tokyo Manji Gang. The day after hearing about her death, he's standing on the station platform and ends up being pushed over onto the tracks by a herd of people. He closes his eyes thinking he's about to die, but when he opens his eyes back up, he somehow had gone back in time 12 years.
