Image via the Champion Cross website The Japanese publisher Akita Shoten announced on July 13 that Yura Urushibara's TOUGEN ANKI manga series has surpassed six million copies in circulation. The manga is serialized in the Weekly Shonen Champion magazine since June 2020. The latest 30th volume released in two editions in Japan on July 8, and a special website was launched to provide information regarding the details of the volume. To commemorate reaching the major milestone, large-scale pillar ads will be displayed at Azalea Road in the Ikebukuro Station in Tokyo from July 13 to 26, 2026. The theme is "Back-to-Back Justice!" For a limited time of two weeks, ten pillars will be decorated with illustrations of 18 popular characters from the respective Oni and Momotarou Corporations. The next season, subtitled "Nikko Kegon Falls Arc," is scheduled to premiere in October 2026 . Ato Nonaka directs the TV anime at Studio Hibari, with assistant direction by Hiroyuki Hashimoto, series composition and scripts by Yukie Sugawara, character designs by Ryoko Amisaki, art direction by Scott MacDonald and music by KOHTA YAMAMOTO.
