The official website for the upcoming live-action film Wandance, adapting Coffee's manga series, announced today that Anji Ikehata is cast as the main heroine, Hikari Wanda. Wanda's character visual and a short clip featuring footage of her from the film was also released. The film is scheduled to release in Japan on November 27, 2026 . Wanda Character Visual and Introduction Video Ikehata won the grand prix at the fashion magazine Nicola audition in 2021 when she was in her second year of junior high school, starting her career as a fashion model. In August 2022, she made her acting debut in the TV drama Old Rookie . In 2022, she made her voice acting debut as Moe Tojo in the anime film Lonely Castle in the Mirror , and in 2024, she played the heroine Kiyoko Yoshida in the live-action film adaptation of Yui Tamura's Yano-kun's Ordinary Days romantic comedy manga. "I broke down in tears when I heard the result of the audition," said Ikehata . "While maintaining deep respect for Wanda in the original manga and cherishing her portrayal, I performed every single scene with great care.
