Magic is returning to the atelier! Following the Witch Hat Atelier Season 2 announcement this week, the official website and accounts for the series shared its first super teaser trailer for the new season today, offering a glimpse at Coco's continuing magical journey. The trailer made its world premiere during the Witch Hat Atelier panel at Anime Expo 2026. Witch Hat Atelier Season 2 Super Teaser Trailer Kamome Shirahama began the Witch Hat Atelier manga in Kodansha’s Morning Two magazine in July 2016, with 16 volumes released in Japan to date. Kodansha USA releases an English-language version of the series. Ayumu Watanabe directs the Witch Hat Atelier anime series at studio BUG FILMS, with series composition by Hiroshi Seko, character designs by Kairi Unabara and music by Yuka Kitamura. The anime’s first season premiered in April 2026. Crunchyroll announced it will stream season 2 when it premieres in the future. Crunchyroll describes Witch Hat Atelier as such: In a world where only witches can cast magic, they must avoid being seen by ordinary people while casting. While Coco does her chores, she daydreams of becoming a witch. When a young witch named Qifrey visits her village, Coco uncovers the “absolute secret,” becomes Qifrey’s apprentice, and begins her studies.
