The official website for the TV anime Yoroi-Shinden Samurai Troopers announced that Hina Suguta (Marin Kitagawa in My Dress-Up Darling ) is voicing the new character Kaede Narumi, who appears starting from Episode 13, the first episode of the second cour that aired in Japan on July 7. The site describes the character as: "The newly appointed DST commander who replaced Nasti. While she maintains a strict attitude toward the Samurai Troopers, she cannot help but feel butterflies for Ryo Sanada." Suguta says, "I'm Hina Suguta, and I'll be playing the role of Kaede Narumi. I'm joining the fight as a DST Commander starting from Cour 2! I approached the recording sessions with a sense of joy for being involved in this series, as well as a healthy amount of tension from the weight of its history.
