Welcome to Daemons of the Shadow Realm and the recaps for the twenty-fourth episode, “Higashi Village and Nishino Village.” In the previous episode, Akio managed to escape thanks to Tanikaze blowing up (a situation created by a group of Western Daemon-wielders that aspire to world domination). Meanwhile, Yuru got sick after having such an eventful few days and was taken back to Dera’s apartment in order to heal. Hopefully he gets the chance to rest up as both he and Asa are in for some major troubles ahead. SPOILERS FOR Daemons of the Shadow Realm EPISODE 24 AHEAD Stop Apologizing, Asa! In Kagemori mansion, Gabby informs Hagure of the fact that Akio was a traitor and managed to escape just before Gonzo could arrive to (likely) kill him. Hagure wonders why they needed to kill Akio at all, before Gabby shows him the dead body of the gardener, Kawai, that Akio strangled. The owner of the Daemons, Heave-Ho, is allowed to become the master of the gardener’s stray Daemons, Gokko-Itachi, as well. In order to prevent police interference, Gonzo plans to say Kawai disappeared — an easy act, considering that he had no family when Gonzo originally took him in. Hagure begs Gonzo to give Akio a proper burial and then lays the blame on Gonzo and tells him that perhaps if he hadn’t been so domineering then Akio wouldn’t have betrayed them.
