A pair of classic 16-bit JRPGs are about to return in the form of Lufia I & II: The Sinistrals Saga , which brings Lufia & the Fortress of Doom and Lufia II: Rise of the Sinistrals to modern consoles and PC. Clear River Games plans to publish the collection on PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2 and PC (Steam) in the west sometime in 2027. TAITO’s new ports promise to be “enhanced for modern play,” and you can see a brief tease in the announcement trailer below.
