With the anime film Made in Abyss: Mezameru Shinpi premiering October 23, it's time to celebrate the manga that started it all! A new exhibition kicks off next month in conjunction with the film's release, showcasing reproductions of Made in Abyss manga artwork by Akihito Tsukushi. The first-of-its-kind exhibition will display reproduction manga pages in full, including artwork beyond the frames that never made it to print. The event will also feature photo spots recreating scenes and artifacts from the manga, as well as other materials relating to Tsukushi's work. A new key visual for the event shows the characters in memorable moments from across the series: Made in Abyss: Mezameru Shinpi Movie Series Part 1 Release Commemorative Exhibition visual The Made in Abyss: Mezameru Shimpi Movie Series Part 1 Release Commemorative Exhibition takes place at the Seibu Ikebukuro Main Store in Tokyo from October 24 to November 29. The exhibition will close temporarily on November 12 for an exhibition changeover, leading to the event's second half starting November 12. Akihito Tsukushi's original Made in Abyss manga has been running since 2012. The TV anime adaptation aired its first season in 2017, followed by the second season in 2022.
